I've committed to the #100daysofcode challenge to learn and refine my Java skills.

After reflecting on where I want to take my career in Tech, I've decided to improve on my skills and learn new one.

To keep me accountable, I've decided to take up the #100daysofcode challenge. As a start, I'll be working on my Java skills and some SQL as I want to improve on my backend skills.

“Learning to write programs stretches your mind, and helps you think better, creates a way of thinking about things that I think is helpful in all domains.” —Bill Gates, Co-Chairman, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Co-Founder, Microsoft

What is '100 days of code'?

It's a coding challenge created by Alexander Kallaway to encourage people to learn new coding skills. It consists of 2 rules:

  1. Code for at least an hour a day for 100 days.

  2. Tweet your progress everyday using the #100daysofcode hashtag

(Since I don't use twitter I'll be sharing my progress on Instagram and LinkedIn, so follow me on these socials)

Goal and Tools

The goal is to improve my backend skills, starting with learning some Java, I'll be learning from a course in Udemy, and some tools online along with YouTube videos. I won't be sharing daily posts on here but on my socials, I will blog about some of it though.

Also feel free join in and let's start learning!
